Day one was an adventure! Left St. Stephen and made it the outskirts of Perry maine. Found a “unofficial” place to camp, and hunkered down for the night. Coastal rain arrived about 2:00am just to keep me humble, and I was wearing everything in my pack by morning….but I did get some sleep.
maine is beautiful, and I am taking pics when I can. The people have been very friendly and helpful.
day two happening now. trying to get to dennysville by nightfall…halfway there now, wish me luck! Free WiFi at this lone gas station….and the only opportunity for food till tomorrow so thought I would charge my phone and post.

Hey Stephen! Good luck to you! Stay positive. Attitude is everything — it’s the difference between an adventure and an ordeal. Glad I have a way to follow you. Eat well and stay healthy.

Your on my mind every minute of the day and of course, a place in my heart. Sending love, hugs, and positive energy your way.
“I always loved running…it was something you could do by yourself, and under your own power. You could go in any direction, fast or slow as you wanted, fighting the wind if you felt like it, seeking out new sights just on the strength of your feet and the courage of your lungs.”
-Jesse Owens
I love you Mr. Moyer!
